On our previous posts, we have covered Mado with their ice-cream and dessert servicing. It must be noted that these both posts are going to be different.

Mado is relatively a new place in Baku, however
popularity has been growing each and everyday - especially since the summer time approaches people are willing to have ice-cream - and the only original goat milk ice-cream from Maras region of Turkey is served in Mado.

Ice-cream is not the only brand which Mado has, apparently Maras people are having good breakfast in their own places - and Mado has found a way to earn money from this breakfast style. This is how it works - basically if you serve any kind of breakfast with a tiny touch of herbs/spices and give it an authentic name or calling it food of a specific region people will buy it. For Mado it is the breakfast. They serve two kinds of breakfast, one they call is the classic - the other they call is the Maras region breakfast.

There are very limited places in Baku, where they serve breakfast which you can enjoy. Mado is one of those places which offers you breakfast

As soon as we have sat down we have asked for the authentic Maras region breakfast - which took them about 6 minutes to serve. The ingredients or products which are included to the Maras breakfast are: sucuk with eggs (sucuk is the Turkish style sausage with many herbs and spices), 4 different kinds of cheese (classic white cheese, Turkish style cheese with herbs etc.), honey and cream, butter, 2 kinds of olives (green and black), 3 types of jam (white cherry, sour cherry, tahini and molasses), 3 kinds of bread (lavash, Turkish bagels, Turkish bread), pastirma (Turkish cured spiced beef) and of course tea.

The good thing about the breakfast is that the tea service is limitless here. And in many occasions it can be seen or experienced that tea will be served when you finish your glass.

The service in Mado can be quite slow and frustrating at some times. Having previous experiences from the place we knew how the service would be. But on a Thursday noon, it seemed that the waiter gave special attention to those people who were having their breakfast. Probably because it was a weekday and it was noon - not many people and only very few having breakfast made us easy to waiter.

Coming back to the breakfast as I have explained you - the authentic Maras breakfast does not have that many difference from a classic breakfast except some more products with herbs and spices. However this does not mean that it is not delicious. Mado is arguably the best breakfast you can have in Baku. Since these are warm and hot weather times, it would be much more enjoyable for you to have your breakfast in outdoor placement of Mado. Because the inner design may not be that enjoyable or the low ceilings with lack in their air-conditioning can actually bore you.

The amount is enough for a person - and if you are a person who is on a diet and only Sunday eating person (because summer is coming, and you have a huge belly which needs to be gone) then the breakfast can be good for two people.

Mado even though has been a popular brand for drinking, dessert, breakfast and meal - does not have music its own place. Maybe a chill-out style music would help the place - but on this day we are hearing the popular music from 80's and 90's. If you are a nostalgic person this can make you happy. But if it does not?

So basically for a good breakfast with an authentic name which you can tell to your friends - you can come to Mado and have the Maras breakfast. Which is one of the best breakfast you would get.

Daha əvvəllər də qeyd etdiyimiz kimi Mado Bakıda yeni bir məkan sayılır ancaq gün keçdikcə onun məşhurluğu və müştəri sayısı artır. Bir tərəfdən də yayın gəldiyini nəzərə alsaq, insanlar Türkiyənin Maraş bölgəsindən gətirilən keçi südündən hazırlanan orijinal dondurmanın dadına baxmaq üçün Madoya üz tutacaqlar.

Bakıda səhər yeməyindən zövq alaraq onu yeyə biləcək çox az restoranlar, kafelər var. Mado səhər yeməyi təklif edən çox az yerlərdən biridir.

Mado yalnız dondurması ilə tanınmır. Maraş əhli yaxşı səhər yeməyi yeməyi bacarır və Mado da bundan istifadə edərək bu yemək növündən pul qazanmaq yolunu tapıb. Deməli məsələ necədir – siz səhər yeməyinə xüsusi ədvalar, ingredientlər qatırsız və ona qeyri-adi bir ad verirsiz (hər hansı bir regiona məxsus olsa daha yaxşı olar) və müştərilər bu səhər yeməyini alırlar. Mado üçün bu bir səhər yeməyidir. Madoda iki cür səhər yeməyi təqdim olunur – klassik və Maraş Kənd Süfrəsi.

Yerimizi rahatlayan kimi Maraş səhər yeməyini sifariş etdik. Sifarişimiz çox qısa zamanda gətirildi – 6 dəqiqəyə. Maraş səhər yeməyinə daxil olanlar: Sucuk (hamımızın bildiyi hisə verilmiş kolbasadan fərqli olaraq sucuk daha çox ədviyyatlıdır və bir qədər acılıdır) və yumurta, 4 fərqli pendir (klassik ağ pendir, türk sayağı otlu pendir, saçaqlı ağ pendir və s.), bal-qaymaq, kərə yağı, 2 cür zeytun (qara və yaşıl), 3 növ mürəbbə (ağ gilas, vişnə və s.), 3 növ çörək (lavaş, türk yumru çörək və klassik türk çörəyi), pastırma (ədviyyatlı türk əti) və təbii ki çay.

Səhər yeməyinin ən yaxşı cəhəti çayın limitsiz olmasıdır. Adətən ofisiant sizdən çayın təkrar olunmasını soruşmur. Çayın bitdiyini görüncə yenisi gətirilir.

Madoda xidmət bəzən çox yavaş ola bilər. Əvvəlki təcrübəmizə söykənərək xidmətin necə olacağı barədə öncədən bəlli təsəvvürlərimiz vardı. Amma cümə axşamı səhər yeməyinə gələn müştərilər üçün ofisiant xüsusilə diqqətcil idi. Bəlkə də həftəiçi gününün olması və günorta çox az adamın səhər yeməyi yeməsi ofisiantın işini asandlaşdırdı.

Mətləbdən uzaqlaşmayaraq qeyd edək ki, Maraş səhər yeməyinin klassik səhər yeməyindən o qədər böyük bir fərqi yoxdur – sadəcə daha çox ingredientlər və daha çox ədvalar var. Amma bu qətiyyən o demək deyil ki, səhər yeməyi dadlı deyil. Sizə məsləhət görərdik ki, Madoda yeməyi çöldə yeyəsiniz. Çünki ikinci mərtəbənin alçaq tavan və zəif havalandırması sizi narahat edə bilər.

Yeməyin miqdarı bir insan üçün yetərlidir. Amma yox əgər siz dietdəsinizsə və ancaq bazar günləri səhər yeməyini yeyirsizsə (məlum məsələ, qarşıdan yay gəlir və qarnınızı əritməlisiniz) onda Maraş səhər yeməyi iki nəfərə də bəs edər.

Mado dondurması, desertləri, soyuq və isti içkiləri və səhər yeməyi ilə tanınan bir məkan olsa da amma onun özünə məxsus musiqisi yoxdur. Amma bizim bu ziyarətimizdə biz 80 və 90-cı illərdən mahnılara qulaq asırdıq Madoda. Bu sizdə nostaljiq duyğular oyada bilər amma eynilə də tərsi ola bilər.

Son olaraq biz belə bir nəticəyə gəldik ki, fərqli (sözün yaxşı mənasında) bir səhər yeməyinin dadına baxmaq istəyirsizsə və o yeməyi dost-tanışa məsləhət görmək istəyirsizsə onda Madonun Maraş Kənd Süfrəsi məsləhətlidir. Maraş səhər yeməyi keçirəcəyiniz vaxta və xərcləyəcəyiniz pula dəyər.
